Except neither of our new Dell machines drives support it.

ImgBurn if all you need is basic file/folder or image burning. That's all I've ever really needed. If you need more like video cd/dvd authoring,, that may be more involved. I haven't found anything free that will really work 100% without bugging up somewhere. Audio CD's, I'm quite a huge fan of this little utility: »www.burrrn.net/?page_id=4

I swear, some people should have pace-makers installed to free up the resources. Breathing and heart beat taxes their whole system, all of their brain cells wasted on life support.-two bit brains, and the second bit is wasted on parity! ~head_spaz

Just downloaded it and burned a CD. Nice!

I am planning to add a REAL computer to my stable and my old pre- 2000 software may not cut it. Thanks for the tip.

You can easily burn audio cd's using Imgburn too. Even has tag editing.

It's all I use for ISO's and general use.

For easily making DVD's with menus and such, not much beats ConvertXtoDVD.

LOl...sorry, couldn't resist. I realize at the time of the original post we were, um, still in "put the pieces back together" mode.

Ooops, unless I missed it, I could not find a diskcopy on imgburn. I did find one on the upgraded version of burnaware. I like that more. It's thirty bucks.

IDK if its the preferred way, but I usually just "create image file from disc", then I burn it. Pretty simple.

You can also do this for copying non-encrypted DVD's: »club.myce.com/f62/disc-disc-usin···-312621/
