Can you get optik with no internet?

Is it possible to get optikTV and not get internet?

Yes, but you'll get CSRs that say you need to bundle, since IPTV is pumped through Telus broadband. Once you get a savvy Telus CSR, they'll try to charge you $5 more since it would be a stand-alone / unbundled service. I was able to negotiate this $5 fee away with a continuous credit applied to my bill. If you need an account number because you are getting the run-around, just PM me. Again, you don't need an active landline (voice) nor Telus' Internet to get their IPTV.

So if im in Brazil I can watch optikTV? Now thats service!! LoL. Honestly, that really sounds like the future. We can buy a phone line from any provider we want theses days.

No.

You will need a Telus copper pair to your home that is connected to a DSLAM in one of their telephone exchanges.

Purchasing their land line telephone service, or their ADSL based Internet service isn't mandatory, but to get OPTIK TV you must nevertheless have a VDSL2 connection over their copper wiring network.
