Re: [SU] Thunderbolt Update Warning

This fucked two of my machines including my personal laptop. Only 1 ktext was installed
Both of the machines were mid 2011 15" MBPs

The fix is reinstall the OS. If I do this, will I be losing my profile?

If you install from the recovery partition without erasing the HD, it'll keep the Users folder and Applications intact.

It looks, from perusing the Forums, that it affected MacBook Pro's. I haven't seen a post where it affected an iMac. I only looked for a couple of minutes though.

Has anyone had their iMac affected?

My iMac at work was ok. I did see someone whine about it on another forum so I'm not taking the chance.
