1 edit | "A Revolution is Coming" commercial Just saw A Fios Commercial where they show a black out sweeping a city then a tablet that a young girl was using powers up and she gets bug-eyed and at the end it said "Fios, A Revolution is Coming 6-18-12". Any Ideas? (Sorry if it was mentioned already). I'm in VH05.
Edit: Saw it again and during the blackout it said "The internet as we know it is about to change forever....6-18-2012" |

 | reply to PhoenixOne So they are making the internet faster and adding all the Spanish HD channels, so does this mean are bill is going up? |
|
 | reply to PhoenixOne I just saw the same commercial. The geek in me did back flips! I hope they decided to further expand FIOS into markets that are craving their services! Some how I don't think so. |
|
 | reply to PoloDude They already announced the tier upgrades last week or this week. |

Haven't seen the commercial, but if it says "the internet" specifically, I think they're just gearing up to publicize their new tiers (300Mbps). -- University of Southern California - Fight On! |

 | That's for sure. |
|
 | reply to PhoenixOne We already know what's happening on the 18th. Now they're advertising it.
I love speculation as much as the next guy, but what exactly about an Apple App would be "revolutionary"? Just about every cable operator besides Verizon has one. Not exactly a "revolution" to catch up with everyone else.
The speeds are the revolution. Sorry to disappoint. |

| reply to PhoenixOne I read someplace, Endgadget perhaps or CNET about Verizon and AT&T restructuring their wireless plans to include unlimited family plans that would include LTE usage for your home as well as your cell phone, maybe that is going to extend in to TV as well and that is what they are pointing at in the commercial. |
