Re: [BC] Network errors ........ Telus server issues ??

As search engines archive information over many years, their stored links can become outdated. Especially when pointing to news sites which keep updating and changing links (eg. Reuters). Search engines will have links to dead sites, but you may be able to view their stored cache. Page Not Found and 404 results are unlikely to be a Telus problem. You could try going to the main page of the site that gives you the 404 error and see if they have search capability and then locate your topic of interest.

Personally, I prefer Google over Bing.

It is very easy to switch between non-Telus and Telus DNS. You can google....errr....bing on how to do it.

Yes, but using either Bing or Google, and getting numerous URL results, I get numerous "Page not Found" errors. A workaround is to link to cached URLs, then once a site is accessed, search that particular site for the information I seek. It's not an occasional "Page not Found", but rather a majority of those errors.
