For me, my bottle neck was my cables and my CC phone/modem. I dumped the phone service months ago and CC refused to give me a new modem. So, I just said, screw you, I'll go get my own SB6121 docis3 and swapped out my cables to 6e's. Already got a giga router and 802.11n router (Dlink DIR655 and matching AP). I'm paying 40 right now for 25/4 and I'm happy with the speeds. Bottle neck is gone. |
