I saw the map this morning....all the LTE Extended has turned to LTE and the 3g to LTE Exten. I read they were going to turn more areas on as of June 21.

I'm in the Exten by a tiny bit...due to the terrain, I guess but pretty much now surounded by LTE

Sprint map shows 1 tower to be upgraded for data in the next 6 months....The service has become pretty much useless. this past week. I can no longer work from home.

But have to give VZ a shot.

Ordered the VZ Hotspot from Millen.

This evening Sprint. If I'd get this all the time I wouldn't have to switch...these are "workable" speeds.

Looks like you might be on a single T-1 tower. I had similar speeds before they upgraded mine. It's a world of difference.

I think it is tin can's and a string for back-haul.
I should proly switch 3g/4g hot spot this test is with my Droid Razr Maxx tethered to my chromebook.

Why is it so slow? I started out at about 1.3Mbps and they are saying they can't do anything about it but wait for a response from level 2 support. It is starting to seem like the cheaper service I have for 2.5GBs and being throttled there after to 256Kbps and slower. I have gotten these slow speeds before I even hit 2.5GBs are they throttling like all other services? If so then they would be worth it. They say unlimited with soft cap of 50GBs not 2.5GBs and I didn't see anything about throttling does anybody know what is going on? Also as a note I have the latest firmware that came with the latest software update on the franklin u602 also I have updated the data profile several times and it has done nothing only once it has when I first got it yesterday.

too many people using your tower?
Sprint's totally inadequate infastructure to support the number of devices it sells?
Nothing to do with Millenicom it's all Sprint. You are not being throttled....it's all they've got in your location.

During times of low use by others, I can get 1M down and .80 up. But most of the time I get this slow speed, High ping service.

Well almost no one uses the tower I use but then I guess it could go much faster. Anyways I got it going good again it connected to a good ha so I then said ha ha. I get a maximum now of 1.3Mbps it just isn't stable. The latency gets slow at times and goes fast as .6Mbps

cbobby it's unfortunate you are apparently on a loaded down tower. Sprint on a good tower is awesome IMO although the hogs sometimes limit me when they are streaming video
