because CEO's never lie and always tell the truth

Let's see...words/deeds:

1. Dankberg said ViaSat will be offering subscriptions that all offer the same throughput of about 12 megabits per second but differ in the amount of gigabytes per month can be downloaded — a way of assuring that a relatively small number of heavy users do not undermine the service of mainstream subscribers.

Did Dankberg, CEO, follow thru on his words? Implicitly, he's wanting a better quality for users.

2. ViaSat To Reposition WildBlue as Higher-end Service Offering - Fri, 21 May, 2010 - "Dankberg said Carlsbad, Calif.-based ViaSat, at the same time as it lets the subscriber count in the eastern United States drop with customer attrition,.."

Did Dankberg not allow new sales on beams that WB Execs stuffed? There were a number of beams closed to sales.

3. ViaSat-1 - Is there lots of people complaining about speeds these days? Or even Exede 5 users?

Yes, Exede 12/5 has had technical glitches, but todate, these appear to be history...gone.

Of course, over at Hughes Forumn, »HughesNet Satellite it seems the complaints go on, and on, and on.

Again, where's the beef from Hughes execs? Once Gen IV is operational, are they going to stuff beams again? Have they made a commitment to better quality service via CEO's mouth? Did they ever shut off sales on over crowded beams?

believe what you want. simply put, if ViaSat is pressured into making more money off of exede, i wouldn't put it past them to overstuff beams, regardless of what the ceo may have said in the past
