You don't build a house starting with the roof first, you build the basement upon firm ground. If the ground isn't firm, you dig down until it is. |

But seriously, a paving company would know (Well, get several different opinions).
I'm thinking that if a latex based compound is applied to the crack, it would last a while since the compound would be able to stretch and compress.
But it's still an imperfection that could flip out a plane with tiny wheels. |
