Which is why any fix applied just to the crack will never last long term. You don't build a house starting with the roof first, you build the basement upon firm ground. If the ground isn't firm, you dig down until it is.

Do they have enough money to pay for a CONCRETE runway?

But seriously, a paving company would know (Well, get several different opinions).

I'm thinking that if a latex based compound is applied to the crack, it would last a while since the compound would be able to stretch and compress.

But it's still an imperfection that could flip out a plane with tiny wheels.
