It's been the same since I was given this E-MTA (Arris TM722) back in March. |

| reply to bgoodbody As I was reading this post I just happen to log into my Cisco DPC3008 D3 modem and saw a new firmware update. The last update when I checked last week was from August of 2011 and the new one is from May 2012. I also noticed that I now have 2 upstream channels as opposed to one last week.
Is it possible with the next update I might get 3 or 4 upstream channels? I will reboot to see if my speeds have increased. I am on Blast Plus. Thanks and Happy Friday.
P.S. do the signal to noise ratios look like they are within spec?

 | reply to bgoodbody Thanks guys. I rebooted the modem to check for the speed upgrades that were recently announced for the NE, but nothing yet. Hopefully soon. |

I am on Blast Plus I doubt the firmware update had anything to do with bonding or a limit on the number of channels. It may have been the reboot involved due to the update that caused it to see the multiple channels. The reverse can be true. When Comcast briefly had upstream bonding last year, many people, including me, were able to keep it even after others reported losing it after a reboot as long as we didn't reboot. |

 | I was having all kinds of problems with packet loss this morning. I rebooted my modems and sure enough I got upstream bonding (2 channels). I have had downstream for a few months now. I still don't have the 50 or 105Mbps packages in my area. I also still haven't seen the speed bump that they have been mentioning for the North East yet either.
