 | [Help] Dreamscene Lagging My System I've been using dreamscene for a few months now and at first it was running smooth with no issues at all. More recently the past few weeks I can barely use dreamscene.
I am able to run a few of them with no problem until my monitor goes to sleep mode and when it comes out of sleep mode and back to the desktop, everything is lagging. My mouse and programs and especially music on winamp.
Today I a few of them on (dying planet was really laggy) and everything starts lagging right away including my music. I read this program uses your gpu and I see my video card gets around 44°C. I usually have to manually set my fan to 75-90% any way as I game often and the default fan settings are horrible.
Any ideas what this could be? I've included some screen shots to help diagnose the issue. My CPU uses a ZALMAN CNPS9500A.
Thanks in advance. |

It utilizes a lot of your systems cpu/gpu and ram. |

 | Never had an issue before so I'm guessing a video driver issue or perhaps something similar. My PC specs should be fine with dreamscene.
Just tried out VLC's background video option and it's running "dying planet" extra smooth and cpu /gpu is under 15% usage. I guess I'll use this in the meantime until I figure out the ds issue.

 | reply to MoReInPuT Well been troubleshooting this and everything is good to go now.
Ran driversweeper 3.2 and removed all display drivers.
Downloaded and installed Catalyst 12.7beta.
Running dreamscene and winamp without lag.
