Yeah, season 2 had problems for several reasons:
- Kicked Frank Darabont off the show he built
- Stole their budget and gave it to P.O.S. Mad Men
- Increased the number of episodes, thus increasing the amount of "filler" in the episodes...
Season 3 has nowhere to go but up in terms of story, this is where the comics started getting really good. I think it will get better in spite of AMC's attempts to screw the pooch.
Darabont's firing will backfire on AMC though, since he's working on LA Noir.... which is a story for another thread. --
