Re: Is this forum only for Cogeco haters?

Getting back to what the OP was originally yowling about....

I don't think this forum is/should be for Cogeco haters only. Neither should it be reserved for shills and official support requests.

If Cogeco needs a forum where they can go about supporting users and not have to suffer public opinion (good or bad) then they should contact DSLr proper and set about securing their own official support forum.

Other than that, subject to DSLr terms of use and so on, the forum should be for anything Cogeco. Good or bad.

Mostly bad though.

Speaking of which, why the hell is the »[Burloak] Usage Based Billing Nightmare thread locked? That outrage should propagate forever. Seriously. Any telecom company with the audetacity to bill a consumer for $1500 should be on the carpet for it for all time.

Didn't you already answer your own question?

I get the feeling that he involved a lawyer and the lawyer told him to keep his mouth shut.

That is my sense as well.

Mike

A moderator locked the thread and moderators lock based on legitimate requests so clearly there was a reason to shut it. Maybe it was simply the case of people beating a dead horse.

The OP started the thread, thanked people a few posts later, then it was mostly you commenting continually, so it's possible the moderator simply felt the dillyhammer thread had run its course?

I believe commenting on moderation is against forum rules as well, so we're both in trouble now...

Yowling = sad
Caterwauling = horny

I suppose either could apply to the noises coming out of Audet. Yowling over the screwin' they took in Portugal. Caterwauling for layin' the pipe to their customers to pay for it.
