Hi all.
TWC technicians (nice to be the first appointment at 8:30 AM PDT and he was early (always be the first one to avoid them being late! He finished it under 1.5 hours with mostly one guy [nice!]) just came to install cable digital TV, Internet, and digital phone (bundled $89.99 promotion) in a new house with its existing coax cables and new hardwares.
How do these 192.168.100.1 bundled box (Internet and digital phone modem) results look so far? We couldn't use many splitters (technician's device showed signal readings for 109 channels and 705 MHz that went low as -11, -9, etc. dBmv!) due to very long existing (folks didn't want to bring in a new coax line so bye bye OTA to two bedrooms) coax cable lines. Two different speed test web sites were fast (standard 10/1):

(what is this?)
Is it me or does 192.168.100.1 doesn't like to be refreshed/reloaded and accessed a lot stops responding to my web browser for a few minutes)? I don't have a wireless router yet. I will add those later. I just wanted to be sure cable stuff work.
One room's HDTV DVR looks good too. I will have to learn how to use it. It shouldn't be hard. Also, digital phone worked (TWC called with a survey already). HDTV picture's quality is not good as OTA's though (spoiled!). Maybe it is because of composite cables (red, yellow, and white) instead of HDMI? Sheesh, too many channels now (will probably downgrade when its year promotion ends). :P
Thank you in advance.
