Wallingford, PA | [DVR] Free DVR on contract renewal? Has anyone received a free DVR when renewing their Fios contract lately? My triple play plan expires in less than 2 months and I have been offered a $120 Visa card but I was kind of hoping to get a DVR deal, either free for life or 1 year at least. They also raised my price by $20 a month for Prime TV, 15/5 internet and Fios digital voice. Thanks. |

I talked them into when my contract was up and they were offering it to new customers, but I don't think they offer it anymore. |

It's easy enough to check, just go in and tell the site that you are a new customer at your home address and see what you get offered. I tried to get a DVR a couple of months ago when they WERE offering it to new customers and did not succeed. They told me it was for new customers only. I did get the $250 gift card (which I should be receiving any day now). |

If you had asked this question 6 months ago the answer was yes as they were offering a free MDVR for life or $250 visa card for renewing. The bad news is that things have changed now and here in Jersey when I check the offer for renewal they only offer a MDVR free for 6 months or a $120 visa card. I know Cablevision also has cut back on their offers so that might be one reason. |
