Would they be able to tell you were tethering if you ran a proxy server in the phone? This would be an awesome deal if you could make this work. -- Go desiel

broccoli join:2007-11-29 Portland, OR	The purported new unlimited plan does not allow mobile hotspots, which shares the data connection with multiple devices over Wi-Fi, but does not mention tethering. The two are not the same (in T-Mobile's mind). I have had an unlimited data plan with T-Mobile since 2004, and tethering (via USB, Bluetooth and serial ) has never been an issue, as long as the handset supports it.

djdanska Rudie32 Premium,MVM join:2001-04-21 San Diego, CA kudos:4	reply to marathonmike On some phones they block via the useragent of the browser. Plus T-Mobile at one point heavily port blocked. They could bring something like that. Time will tell.
