GhastlyonePremium join:2009-01-07 Las Vegas, NV kudos:2 | If Diablo 3 Was On Sale... After reading all the hatred towards D3 it got me wondering about the pricing of this game.
If D3 went on sale tomorrow, and knowing everything you now know about this game. All your gripes combined, what would be the rock bottom sale price for you to pick the game again or recommend someone to pick the game up?
Zero dollars is not an option. Pirating is not an option.
The reason I ask, is because I've never played the game. If by chance someday I do pick it up, I want to know what everyone thinks it's "actually" worth. |

 | reply to Ghastlyone I wouldn't pay more than $15, that's what Torchwood came out at I think. It's a good game, but it just wasn't capable of living up to it's predecessors. |

Mostly because if you start today I think that the experience into Inferno will be more forgiving. The problem is the AH. If AH play has never ever interested you than the above figures would be closer.
What killed it for me was the progression into Inferno. I stomped hell then couldn't do act 1 inferno. I think that is easier now. It really a pretty game and will keep your attention for some time. The amount really depends on how you do with repartition. -- Leaning out a window with a cocked shotgun. Driving up the block in the car they shot Pac in. Looking for Big's killers. | reply to Ghastlyone Your first play through all four acts is fun. The problem is that you have to repeat those four acts four times to reach max level on your character and farm the most difficult act for your gear. If you just want to play through until you kill Diablo, you'll have fun with it. It's when people get to the fourth playthrough at max difficulty level that they get frustrated and quit. Much like SWTOR, the leveling is fun but the end game is worthless.

GhastlyonePremium join:2009-01-07 Las Vegas, NV kudos:2 | reply to Ghastlyone So 10-15 dollars seems to be the consensus.
Not sure if we'll ever see that price range though. I'm just so hesitant on dumping money on any game now a days. |
