| "Hot" MagicJack plus. So after a year of dealing with a problematic MagicJack plus, I did the live chat tech support. I've used the "Live chat" feature with a few other companies, and I must say, It beats the phone support. No holding a phone to your ear for an hour or more trying to reach help.
Anyhow, the issue I have with my MJ+ is that it gets warm to the touch, and "freezes". Meaning we can't call or be called until we unplug the MJ and plug it back in. The person I chatted with suggested I try another power adaptor. So I have it plugged into my Ipad adaptor. The tech suggested giving it a few days to see what happens. The tech also suggested I use the magicjack power adaptor for my Ipad. I told the tech, that I was unwilling to risk a 500 dollar device, if the adaptor was faulty.
The tech said if the MJ+ acts up, they'll exchange the whole thing, if not, then they'll exchange the power adaptor. -- Is a person a failure for doing nothing? Or is he a failure for trying, and not succeeding at what he is attempting to do? What did you fail at today?. |

Have you tried standing the device on its side or on its end?
Good luck. |
