Re: D80 Issues Have you checked that the lens is set to the smallest aperture? Most Nikon lenses have a little slider on the right, marked in red, that allows you to lock them so this doesn't happen. |

I'd check this. I know I had this happen to me a couple times in the past and the aperture ring was the cause.
