Maxium and Minimum levels for bonded channels

said by andyross:

here

Just a note that the upstream levels for the previous two entries are at the maximum for 3-bonded channels. Also, dmgros's downstream levels are at or below the minimum, with poor SNR. owlyn's are a bit marginal.

What does that mean?

I have no idea, what were your levels? This post by itself doesn't tell a whole lot.

Didn't know there were minimum levels required to achieve bonded channels in a D3 area where bonded channels are available.

With 64 QAM Upstreams, there is an upper transmit level which is slightly lower than a D1 connection (55dbmv if I remember correctly. We shot for 53 in my office as a max), for example. As any DOCSIS modem, D3 has an upper and lower threshold to function.

I just don't know what the OP is asking.
