I seriously cant The Cardinals are a great defensive team and its no shame to lose to them. that being said the Eagles have to adjust DURING the game! Wouldn't matter who the quarterback was yesterday, with that porous offensive line. When is Andy going to learn that running the ball is a good thing? Especially when you have one of the best running backs in the game.
On paper, Kolb and Vick posted similar numbers. What set Kolb apart is what he didn't do. Vick lost two fumbles. Kolb has one turnover in his three games this season - and he was perfect on Sunday. With Arizona's underrated defense, the only way the Eagles were getting back into Sunday's game was if Kolb opened the door.
Vick has officially been "hit" 28 times this year, which is the highest number of the NFL (according to Stats). The offensive line deserves a lot of the blame, but Vick's decision-making is part of the problem. He's accounted for four touchdowns this year and turned the ball over nine times.
On the other hand running back McCoy carried the ball only 13 times. Really feel sorry for McCoy that his career is being wasted by Reid. -- "The world is a dangerous place. Not because of the people who are evil; but because of the people who don't do anything about it."

But in the first half the pass - run ratio was 25-5 is PATHETIC. When you have one of the best backs in football if not the best back in football and you only give him the ball 5 times in a half? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? This has been going on since Day 1 in 99! IM SICK OF IT! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! | reply to Eagles LoveR From ESPN's DJ Gallo: LeSean McCoy ran the ball just 13 times in Philadelphias loss to the Cardinals. Heres Andy Reid after the game: Obviously, we thought that we could throw the ball and do a better job in that area. In hindsight, it would have been OK to run the ball a little more." Eagles LoveRDawkins is a true EaglePremium join:2001-11-29 Trenton, NJ | I wonder how many times it would have been "OK" to run the ball a little more.. PATHETIC! If I'm not mistaken I bet half those carries were in the 4th QT down by 22 points.. :/ |
