It's almost that time of year again - the nights are getting colder and the leaves are about to explode in color.
Here around Boston there's the odd tree changing but nothing picture worthy yet. How is it where you all are?

Scattered small patches of color 'round here. Nice for dramatic close ups. Lousy for the WOW factor photo.

Gallifrey | I went up to northern NH (Route 302) last week. Unfortunately most of New England has had an almost perpetual cloud cover for the past few weeks so my shots don't have the bright sunlight and blue skies that really make the colors pop but the shots were passable. The drive was wonderful though 
Is your first shot Oriental Bittersweet? We had some out back but it only berried one year of the four I've been here. I've been wanting to redo some macro shots but the damned thing just won't cooperate.

| I'm usually up 302 in February for Ski season, good ol' North Conway.
As for Marlborough, limited color. It's there, but lacks WOW.

Gallifrey | We've got color around here now too, but many still green trees mixed with now bare ones. Why can't they all explode at once??

Lots of yellow around here. Not many other colors. Some trees are bare, others still green.

Same here, 20 miles east. My favorites are the maples that are green/yellow/red right now. All colors together for even more Wow!
