If you canceled the cinematics and didn't read the quest chains, then I'm not sure why you clicked on a "Lore" thread, lol.
Alliance: Solid introduction to conflict on Pandaria and the need to rush to the isle to secure Anduin. I haven't finished Tides of War, but I still feel a connection to this angle from recently reading Wolfheart. I mentioned it in the other quest, but the SI:7 quest hub in Pearlfin Village is my current favorite, particularly the sniper event.
What are your thoughts of the Alliance or Horde storylines? -- Immergruen (resto/boomie) on Nathrezim Server (US) Malanorei (discipline/holy); Esclavizado (blood/unholy) Guild leader for Pride and Ego
I'll admit I did skip a few cutscenes, but I read all of the text - and loved the story and quests. The sniper quest was my favorite, too. Overall, really well done, and I'm enjoying the story a lot. Best xpac since BC, imo.
hehe... dwarves are hilarious. love the pet racoon, bit.
Did this chain event this morning with a couple of guildies and it was funny reading their reactions to the pet racoon bit. Not as far as i would like through the quests, but I am impressed with the quests and the layout of the area's so far.
was extremely sleep last night fell off airship and today spent be better half of the day looking for a quest only to install Wholly and Grail to spot where to begin. I did do some pet battles, I have a lvl 5 willy ( :P ) lvl 4 crimson snake

does that wholly and grail thing work for MoP? i'm looking for something to ease my questing a bit now that Carbonite is busted again. -- If you find the information in my post helpful or interesting, please throw me a Kudos. Thanks!
I hated it the first time through because I didn't read the quest that I "HAD" to go explore the shrines. I spent about five minutes sniping tigers before I asked how long it lasted. The next couple of times through it was much better.
I've got my Alliance Panda Monk started, leveled enough to select side, get guilded, and mail my BOA gear. Think I'm going to hop on, use rested, and then switch toons, to even out her leveling. I forgot how painful walking was.
I've got three Alliance to 85.5 and have logged into my top 20 toons to get their rested timers started. Going to have to learn all of the classes again.
I was on vacation last week and my father-in-law is sleeping in the room with my computer and he's a late riser. Really cutting into the WoW time. He's headed home tomorrow, so the weekend should see some quality play time. -- Want the shirt? - »www.despair.com/thedestructor.html Not afiliated or making any profit from sales
blizzard did this for you already... the quest area is highlighted in blue for the one you currently have selected (just click a number in your quest tracker), most are right ontop of each other. 3 quest givers from the same hub will give you 3 quest to a.) kill x number of thing b.) collect y number of things that drop off of mobs from a. and c.) pick up these items from the ground around the feet of a. that drop the items from b. -- For Rogues, by Rogues, to be used at the Rogue drive through when you order a side-order of Rogue.
okay. my last beef with the stock map and quest tracking is not ability to move it where i want it.
also, is there a way to have the whole zone map up at all times that shows those blue areas by chance? -- If you find the information in my post helpful or interesting, please throw me a Kudos. Thanks!
I created a panda and saw the story line from a different view.
I am at the point where I have to decide to go alliance or horde. I have a few questions about that. Will I be neutral with the opposite faction if I were to met them on the road? How different are the horde quests from Alliance? I've never played a horde toon before, so this might be my chance. Reason I ask about the neutral thing is because I think my kids will go alliance. So I'm curious as to if we'd be able to quest and such.
The starter story line was interesting.
My kids seem to be spending a lot of time training and battling their pets. They seem to enjoy that more then anything else. -- Is a person a failure for doing nothing? Or is he a failure for trying, and not succeeding at what he is attempting to do? What did you fail at today?.
once you pick your faction you are that faction, Meaning another panda who is opposite cannot understand you any longer and if its in a BG they are a valid target and will attack you.. Someone in my guild even commented on the fact that once you pick a faction you somehow forget how to understand other pandas.
as far as I know WoW cannot tell race and class from faction, Meaning once something or someone is Horde or Alliance it is that faction. Pretty much in theory if I understand how the game works behind the scenes, If you where to and able to hack the server and set a human character as "Horde" they could walk right into Org and the game would see them no differently than an Orc. -- [65 Arcanist]Filan(High Elf) Zone: Broadband Reports

I finally got around to looking for the pet trainer last night. I was amazed at how much I liked it. I can see spending a lot of time on it, if for no other reason than to "collect them all". It is interesting that it is at least faction side based, ie you only have to train on it once and the training that you do is for all your toons. I am basing this on my Alliance set on Lothar and have not checked different servers. -- Want the shirt? - »www.despair.com/thedestructor.html Not afiliated or making any profit from sales
I've been enjoying the new quests. Was going to tackle whatever questline Anduin Wrynn is in on Kun Lai Summit today, but I forgot to pack my authenticator with laptop before I left the state yesterday I don't think the people at home will understand what an "authenticator key fob looking thing" looks like. -- Change the scheme, alter the mood! Electrify the boys and girls if you'd be so kind.
now that the wife and i both have different smart phones, i was thinking about switching my authenticator to my phone.
question regarding this though. when i use the mobile armory (AH, guild chat, armory, etc.) on the phone and i have to log in, will the authenticator on the phone automatically know to generate a number or would i have to go to the home screen and pull up the authenticator app on the phone then switch back to the armory app? -- If you find the information in my post helpful or interesting, please throw me a Kudos. Does any remember the phone number based authenticator? Give that a try I guess. Got lucky last night, logged in for shiggles and it didn't ask me for the code. -- Change the scheme, alter the mood! Electrify the boys and girls if you'd be so kind.
