 | Anyone else having connection problems atm? Here's my tracert. Trying to load anything takes very long and sometimes takes multiple attempts before the page loads as it would often error out.

Anyone else getting these issues? |

 | Yes, my connection is so poor right now, it takes several refreshes to load a page. |

I changed to Google public DNS. 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 |

 | reply to dex1d Not a networking expert, but I think it's their DNS server. I switched to 8.8.8.8, google's DNS, and things seem fine now.
This is rogers, right? It says your ISP is telus |

 | reply to Ian Having internet issues and LTE issues on my iphone so something is up with their network. |
 | Rogers DNS gone to crap in New Hamburg, Ont. Had to switch to internal servers. |
 | reply to lonon Looks like others have concluded the same thing. I think I'm going to ditch Rogers' DNS. I've had connection problems in the past, but couldn't pinpoint them since I've also been constantly changing firmware. |

 | reply to lonon Page loads were pathetically slow, was tethering with phone. And yup, switching DNS solved the problem. |
 | reply to Ian Nice tip! Worked a treat. |
 | reply to dex1d DNS switching worked great for me too. Easy to do. |
 | reply to dex1d I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary since early this week when I lost my connection for a few minutes. |
 | reply to dex1d It's complete trash in London right now (North). ping timesa re fine, page loads not so much so I suspect you are all on the right track. It's been inconsistent all week speed wise (ping times in games from 24ms up to 400ms) but not it is outright ruined. I'll try it again in a few hours, this page took almost 5 minutes to load :O! |
 | reply to dex1d Rogers DNS is failing. Google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 works like a charm. |

 | reply to thepitcher how do you switch DNS? i'm new to this stuff |
 | reply to MichelR Yes, but for me it seems like a combination of DNS plus other issues. I was occasionally connecting to some sites (but not most) via Rogers DNS. Switching to Google seems to work better but it still slow loading pages (although at least it can now find them). |

DNS servers are barley reachable....... Use external such as google for now |

 | reply to gollumbird Like others have said, switching to Google DNS seems to work great. My phone data on the other hand is messed up too. Tried to call rogers and they are even having issues with their support centre. Must be getting flooded with calls! |
 | reply to dex1d Yes, I am also having problem with rogers internet, I think is a DNS problem because some sites works like google, and other dont |
