Re: VZW Mifi using MBR1000 as a repeater

you need one of the newer Cradlepoints in WiFi as WAN mode to connect with the MiFi, the MBR1000 won't work with it.

ok thanks Jim, will a Linksys wrt54g? That is what I am currently using as a repeater bridge to connect to my mbr1k.

Will the linksys's even do 4g.....or would it matter since it'll be getting it from the mifi?

Have you ever heard of the Sapido routers? This is kinda what im looking at:

Seems I could plug my phone into it to share my 4g connections and broadcast it out.

What would you suggest be the best way to go about doing this?

I'd get the cheapest Cradlepoint (CTR35), put it in WiFi as WAN mode, then connect your Linksys to it. I'm not familiar with Sapido.

I think Im going to try the sapido out, I know you are WAY more knowledgable on this than I will ever be. If it doesnt work, I'll return it and try out the CTR35. I'll keep ya posted. Thank you for your input. You are a great asset to this community.
