I have a third gen iPad already as well as two HP Touchpad units (16GB and 32GB) running Android and WebOS respectively. So I guess my answer would be no. Although I could sell the HP tablets and maybe buy the mini. There would have to be some advantage for doing so though,…

Well, I mean an advantage with respect to hardware configuration and price. For example I bought the new iPad which was basically an entry level unit (16GB / WiFi only). If the mini had a significantly lower price for more storage and or cellular connectivity it would be more attractive. If it were just a slightly smaller version with a slightly lower price then I wouldn’t see the point.
