Re: Big Daddy Knows How To Protect You! MS Blocks Flash on Metro

Why to stop with Flash? Limit all web sites, that users can visit with the new web browser and ask for a payment approval...

Do others see this as a next money grabbing attempt from this corporation or you must be a "conspiracy theorists" to see the obvious...

It's going to be fun to watch how it will go with big porno industry in the US, making huge profits by providing their junk via Flash...

On the other hand, almost everyone in the security forum knows that Flash is one of the most exploitable pieces of software out there, so one doesn't have to be a "conspiracy theorist" to see the obvious.

Many of us here think that Windows 8 is excessively oriented to mobile devices. Adobe doesn't think its Flash software is suitable for mobile devices (or else it's bowed to the Apple onslaught, take your pick). QED: Microsoft is orienting their mobile-OS UI to de facto mobile-OS practices.

Of course, the mere fact that Microsoft does something automatically leads certain posters to declare that they want the opposite thing. (Hi, mele)

Me, I don't care a whole lot. Flash is not good software. Don't we all like open standards? (oops, wrong forum).

Did hell just freeze over? Dave is arguing for open standards?
