| Firefox 15.0.1 - Two annoyances when opening link new window Hello all,
I have a couple of minor annoyances with Firefox 15.0.1 and I'm hoping someone will be able to help me fix them.
When right clicking on a link and choosing "open link in new window", the browser no longer directly goes to that new window like it use to. I would like to be on that new window automatically.
The second annoyance is that when I go to that new window, the address bar does not display the URL. It is blank. I would like to see the URL in the address bar in the new window.
Is there a way to configure Firefox to accomplish these things?

Winter Park, FL | First of all, 15.0.1 is outdated, update to 16.0.1.
When I click "open link in new window", it goes straight to it, and it shows the URL as well.
I would try creating a new profile to see if that resolves it. |

It is my understanding that 16 has a bug? Was waiting until that got fixed and from what I have read, that won't happen until 17. (?)
How do I create a new profile? And if I do, will I still be able to keep my current one? |

Use the Profile Manager to create and remove Firefox profiles

Close Firefox
(Windows) Start > Run > enter: firefox.exe -p
Give the new profile a name you like and be
sure to uncheck the box "Don't ask at startup".
Then, when starting Firefox, the profile manager will start and give the choice of profiles to select.
