Re: [NFL] Week 7 Games Discussion

said by jabarnut:

Jets at Pats with the Pats coming off a disappointing loss. I can hardly wait.
This is one game I *really* want to Jets to win. Time to get the incense and prayer beads out, I suppose.

Ryan said earlier today that Tebow is going to line up at running back this week, since the Jets RBs are hurt. Also, Jets worked out a new QB this week.

Just put him in the fantasy lineup.

The TEBOW SHOW is here!

Yeah, as a running back . Something I've been suggesting they try, as long as they insist on keeping him around.

Watch him rush for 300 yards.

That would be awesome, and something I'd welcome. ("Tebow, the great running back").
(Just don't let him start as QB)

Brees or Weeden.

Thats easy. But Brees has 3 targets even 4 over Henderson.. Colston, Graham, Moore, and Sproles. Weeden's #1 target is Gordan

Hey. No TO's for Vick this week? Is fantasy lying to me?

I saw about half of the Jets game on the RedZone channel and didn't see Tebow at all. Guess Ryan changed his mind.

Tebow ran 4 times for a total of 12 yds. Hardly a factor in the game.

I saw the whole game, and I think I saw Tebow maybe 4 times in the entire game.
The whole thing is still a complete mystery to me. (Of course, a mystery why they signed him in the first place, and an even bigger mystery why they don't somehow work him into the offense more, rather than have him stand on the sideline and pray he gets a chance to go in for one play).

Is this guy a bot?

I feel like hes IBM's deep blue trolling us with dry ass facts.

I saw Tebow run a few routes and line up at RB.

I am sure its annoying the piss outta him and it didn't seem all that effective.

They're thinking about demanding some more draft picks.

The Rams had so many holes to fill, they couldn't afford to mortgage the future for one guy. Lots of draft picks are the only way to rebuild a franchise that had fallen so far.

It is still rude for Cutler to greet Stafford with a cigarette in his mouth.

But they had the pick. Couldn't they just dealt of Bradford to help fill some holes?

Can you think of any team that would have traded as much for Bradford as they got for RG3?

But will Bradford ever be RG3? And will those draft picks pan out to make an impact that RG3 can? Of course its easier for me to say now looking back and seeing how good Rg3 is playing in the NFL but the Rams had nothing to go on.

Also, remember that Fisher got burned by Vince Young in Tennessee. He may have been a little reluctant to go all in on another 'cant miss' QB.
