This lady whose husband died is selling a 1979 Chevy Caprice 4 door Red/Red for $1k (down from $1.2k) 70k miles, in pretty good shape. Tires are okay, and brakes are okay. Not sure about tranny

depends on your intentions for it. That is a very old car now. Guessing if it has the 5.7L V8 though at least it has a good motor, the 350 small block is known to be a great engine.
Naturally if its a tinker car you could likely turn that thing into one hell of a sleeper I bet.
Odds are it will be cheap to insure though so might make a good winter beater with same sand bags in the trunk if you do not want to take a nice car out into a snow storm. -- [65 Arcanist]Filan(High Elf) Zone: Broadband Reports
reply to Jackarino My father had a 78(?) Caprice, two-tone tan/brown. Really nice looking car. Took it on a trip to Rochester, NY. It drove like it was riding on a cloud.
What are the NJ emissions requirements for an old car like that?
