That sure looks like a Polymoog. I remember they sold for around $5000 back in the early 70's! Back when $5000 was a reasonable down payment on a HOUSE!

Now you've got me loading up MIDIs on my laptop and playing them in Qsynth and some good soundfonts!

There's some nice renditions of Oxygene and Cars done in GM format.

Some of my favorite MIDI files sequenced by other people (geniuses!)

If your soundcard and player support soundfonts these can sound amazing with the proper soundfont.

And if you have a crappy soundcard with FM voices then they won't sound better than cheap video game music....
