 | Also, make sure that the replacement has been manufactured within the last 6 months (check the sticker on the box). If they sit around too long, things inside can degrade, so that the replacement doesn't work any better than the one you took out.
I know this from personal experience on a different HP model. |

What else can be done? |

 HankSearching for a new FrontierPremium join:2002-05-21 Burlington, WV kudos:1 | BK3 mentioned what you have to do. I think you got confused in the terminology. You are going to have to order and replace the entire toner cartridge assembly which holds the toner cartridge and the drum assembly. |
