[WIN8] Windows Defender update automatically every 2 hrs?

Any way to do this in Windows 8? Seems like every time I check for updates. A new dl is always happening. They seem to update constantly.

Lets make sure users know that this isn't the old WD,but the new MSE that Microsoft renamed............what an idiotic idea.

Confuse users more than they already are with this new OS.

I don't have win8 yet but in win7 you could simply use task scheduler something like this....

Run: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Essentials\MpCmdRun.exe" -Scan -ScanType 1

Start in: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Essentials

Which schedules a quick scan, and checks for updates before the scan. change to ScanType 2 for Full scan.

looks like -SignatureUpdate is a viable command too
