 | This is great however they left ultimate out of the mix. I've had 8x4 bonding for months however I still can't get my ultimate upload increased. If thats the case I'll drop down to extreme plus. I'd rather have the 4Mbps upload. |

Let's hope they can deliver everywhere and this isn't a work in progress like their LTE deployment.
On the other hand, with zero broadband alternatives I guess we should be grateful Rogers has decided to throw us a bone.............. |

 | reply to clementlo Really said that the old Ultimate didn't get an upstream boost. I guess they don't care about those people on that plan who can't get the new 150/10 Ultimate yet.
So I just "upgraded" to Extreme+ to get the 4mbps upstream. |

When I saw no change on my Ultimate connection's upstream I figured that meant no change for me, but if it might just take a couple weeks then I guess I'll wait it out.
Have to wait a couple weeks for the switch anyway...apparently they can upgrade instantly but I was told the downgrade had to wait until next billing cycle. |

They simply make an adjustment on the bill same as they would for an upgrade. Customer Care can upgrade or downgrade the account instantly. They say it takes 4 to 6 hours to take effect. Mine was instantaneous.
It's just a cash grab like that 30 day cancel policy. NOTHING takes 30 days to do on a computerized account period....... |

And I with them for 6 years... no contract! Where the hell did I need to give you 30 days notices when I have no contract!

I've never heard of anyone getting less than 14 for full time work. Rarely would you ever need to work the notice, just cash in your pocket. |

Yeah I'll probably give it a week to see what other "old" Ultimate users experience. My plan is to switch to 150/10 once it becomes available anyway, so hopefully that won't be long and it won't really matter what I'm on in the interim.

Actually after thinking about it, it does make some sense to handle downgrades at the end of a billing cycle. What if I had used 200GB of my 250GB cap before switching. All of a sudden I go from 50GB remaining on Ultimate to 50GB over on Extreme+, and then Rogers gets some pissed off calls from me.
So it could be a cash grab, or it could be to keep the hassle to a minimum. |

When they lay you off they will just escort you out the door the very day! saw enough! They will not tell you that you going to get layoff.
But that beside the point! I didn't sign a contract therefore, I should need to give them any notices! When I go shopping, I don't have to give them notices if I shop somewhere else do I? |
