They seem to be all day, I just checked again and they are about the same. They are the same even if I take my router out of the mix-brand new Airport Extreme. the modem is the Motorola Surfboard. Don't know how to look for levels or packet loss.
ping test said 0percent packet loss 70 ping ms Jitter: 6ms Grade B
the other info from the modem said (I know not what any of this means): Frequency 129000000 Hz Locked Signal to Noise Ratio 38 dB Power Level 2 dBmV The Downstream Power Level reading is a snapshot taken at the time this page was requested. Please Reload/Refresh this Page for a new reading
Upstream Value Channel ID 5 Frequency 30600000 Hz Ranged Power Level 44 dBmV
Signal levels look good. I'd contact Optimum to report the slow speeds to Optimum West's support. I'm assuming they have DOCSIS 3 fully rolled out based on the lack of new posts stating people received it, so it could either be as easy as a DOCSIS 3 modem install, or it may involve quite a bit more.
