[HSI] New service

wizkid6 join:2002-03-31 Opelika, AL	[HSI] New service I currently have the Gold package with 2 HD Boxes. Charter tells me that they want $30 for a tech to come out to plug it in. Can't I just go up to the office, pick it up, and go to install.charter.com after the office adds it to my account?

sittin_tech join:2004-04-13 Rochester, MN kudos:1	If the service has already been activated at your house in your name, then you should be able to pick up the boxes and install them yourself.

NightOwl2 join:2012-03-19	reply to wizkid6 I activated my own HSI with Charter once TV service had been installed. At that time I had my own modem, and all cable outlets had been activated.
