Re: [WIN7] Size of Windows 7 on HD: 26GB - can it be reduced? Points taken on reinstall Win 7 or go get Win 8.
Other than those, while keeping my Win 7 installation, any suggestions would be welcome.
My Windows 7 is using 26 GB on my HD. I have limited space on my partition and it can't be expanded. System drive is SSD on laptop.
Within the Windows folder the largest folders are: winsxs, 14.4 GB Installer 4 GB System32 2.7 GB assembly 1.4 GB SysWOW64 1.2 GB Microsof.NET 0.6 GB

You may be able to free space now but a month or two down the road it's going to be an issue again. -- "Intellectuals solve problems, geniuses prevent them." Einstein |
