Re: Distributel speed upgrades?

I'd imagine Distributel is in the same boat as Teksavvy. Apparently rogers is trying to force TPIA providers to pay more for the upgrades when they should be offered free according to tariffs. So the CRTC has to get involved now I guess to force Rogers to follow the rules.

So I doubt you will see any speed increases any time soon.

Not quite accurate. Rogers is trying to force the TPIA providers on the aggregate POI to pay more. At the moment, I think Start.ca is the only one of those.

Rogers isn't giving them to other TPIA providers at all right now. Which is also a trip to the CRTC to resolve.
