reply to godsmacked Some Westell 327 models permit you to use Ethernet Port 1 for the WAN instead of using the DSL port. I found an on-line copy of a Westel 327 user manual at »www.westell.com/docs/support-doc···6_ug.pdf
Hopefully that manual will contain the information you need to setup your 327 to use Ethernet Port 1 for the WAN port. -- We can never have enough of nature. We need to witness our own limits transgressed, and some life pasturing freely where we never wander.
I'm a little rusty on the settings from memory but just click on broadband then dsl and change wan port from dsl to ethernet and click save and enter your userid and network password, connect the ethernet cable to port 1.
