move ultra TV box (requires new outlet install)
My sister (on initial install) put one of her ultra TV video boxes in the office/spare bedroom and wants to move it to the master bedroom. The master bedroom does not have an outlet so it would need one run. What does WOW charge for this and what is the best way to order this?
reply to scooby $20 a drop is actually very cheap. Most business cable installers charge $50-100 per drop. That is per cable. Meaning if you wanted four cables in one spot, it's $50-100 per cable even though they are going to the same spot.
You know how hard it is to run cable in hard ceilings? I hate doing it. I run cable for my job but we have drop ceiling everywhere making it easy. It's still a bitch to do but at least it's a straight shot there.

reply to scooby I figured minimum $85 maybe even $105 based on the prices from that page.
$20 for installing an additional outlet $15 for wall fish $50 for tech visit
and maybe $20 for New/Rewire/Relocate Outlet. I have all the tools and plenty of quad shielded RG6 and compression connectors. I was just hoping to get out of doing it.
