Clarendon, TX | Satellite Wouldn't satellite connections be better out in the rural areas where some of us are getting 1mbit most of the day? Or is the latency too high on that kind of connection to be usable for anything like gaming, voip, video conference? |

| The latency is horrible on satellite. If it weren't I would use it myself! Hell, I'd like to get that 1mb most of you get! |

Verizon 4G LTE would be a better option for most, if it's available. |

I get 1mbit 90% of the day and ping spikes of 2000ms even then. It can't be worse than that? |

Only prob with wireless is the low data caps. One 20gig WoW patch and you're done. Satellite is useless for gaming or anything that takes constant sending and receiving of information in a timely manner. Heard dialup is better for gaming than sat. |
