Not sure why Verizon moved it up, but VHO 11 (Pittsburgh) received the update Thursday morning, Nov. 29th at 2:15 AM. The release number stays the same (1.9.1) but the build number (14.47) and data object version number (34.47) are different. So far, it appears it has fixed the channel changing issue.

I'm in VHO 6 and my build number is 14.47 and data object 34.47. Does this mean that I have already received the fix?

What is the build number for folks that have not yet received the fix?

The same as yours. Since I've had this setup for awhile and the box still freezes what you got is not the fix.

Happened to me this morning, exactly how you explained it. Only reason I checked was every one of the stbs was on channel 36 when I woke up. Much smoother changing channels now

I can confirm that only the PLATFORM VERSION changed in this update. With this FIRMWARE UPDATE, the new Platform Version is 25.39 dated October 22, 2012 (this information is accessed via the "hidden" diagnostic menu) while everything else stays the same. Release Number remains 1.9.1; the Data Object Number stays at 34.47; and the Build Number is still 14.47

Excellent work. So all 3 numbers visible in the IMG must relate to the IMG Software while the Firmware is in the Motorola menu on the box itself.

Makes sense.

how do you access the hidden diagnostic menu?

To enter the diagnostics menu: With your STB powered On, hit "Power, OK, OK" QUICKLY in sequence from the front panel or remote. To exit the menu, hit "Power" to turn off the STB. The next power up will be back to normal.
