They seem to run those deals each Thanksgiving week after a major release. I remember they did the same thing with Cataclysm and I was kicking myself as I had just bought it. I used the deal to upgrade the rest of the family though so all was not lost. |

A few weeks ago, Blizzard had all releases through Cata for $5 IIRC, this past Thursday MoP was $15 a copy at Amazon.
$20 for all patches through MoP isn't half bad imo. Too bad we need to play price games.
In the long run we all pay a lot more for monthly subscriptions. |

Hmm. Maybe it was the year following then. I just remember that they were on this type of special two years ago so last year I waited to upgrade a couple of accounts until Black Friday and they didn't put them on special as they had done the previous year. Then this year MoP comes out and they are back to putting them on sale. Figured that was the catalyst. |
