| reply to blackthought For the record, I like this. I do not grind rep on alts, even though I need the patterns and recipes on the selected professions. So I had some Valor and Justice points on toons. Also like the BOA Rep buff Tokens that once Revered on your Rep Main Toon will allow the purchase of tokens for around 40 gold, that gives a buff to "ALL toons on this account by 100%" for the specific factions Reputation gains. |

I know I'm not. |

 | reply to blackthought It does give you something to spend VP on if you're approaching cap and have nothing else to spend it on. Which I highly appreciate. -- When the ship lifts, all bills are paid. No regrets. |

At 2900 VP but wanna hold off on buying the valor head piece until I take one more shot at Sha of Fear, so I upgraded my 496 chest to 500. Pretty nifty. |

 | reply to blackthought i don't plan on raiding but do plan on casual pvp so I can see where this will work to my benefit if i can get hands on a pve weapon...i'm assuming this works with pvp weapons as well but uses honor instead? -- »www.nomorenoob.com - Wow help site Noob of the month - »www.nomorenoob.com/p/noob-of-month.html |

KrisnatharokCaveat EmptorPremium join:2009-02-11 Earth Orbit kudos:7 | Did you look at the proc after upgrading it? AFAIK it won't show the proc being upgraded in the Upgrade window if it is pending, but it does indeed upgrade:
What wowhead says:
Relic of Xuen Item Level 476 Upgrade Level 0/2 +956 Agility Equip: When you deliver a melee or ranged critical strike, you have a chance to gain Blessing of the Celestials, increasing your Agility by 3,027 for 15 sec.
What I have equipped:
Relic of Xuen Item Level 480 Upgrade Level 1/2 +993 Agility Equip: When you deliver a melee or ranged critical strike, you have a chance to gain Blessing of the Celestials, increasing your Agility by 3,143 for 15 sec. -- If we lose this freedom of ours, history will record with the greatest astonishment, those who had the most to lose, did the least to prevent its happening. |

I know I'm not. Lots of people are honor capped / justice capped, this allows those currencies to still have value. I would improve anything you don't expect to replace immediately rather then just sitting at 4000 JP/Honor. |

 | reply to blackthought Loving that the week this comes out our two melee dps both got their 2h Elegon sword on their bonus rolls (after having no melee dps weapons this expac for our guild, including LFR).
Two guys going from 463 -> 497 weapons (2/2 up'd) is going to be fun times for us : )
Debating whether it's worth the valor to spend points to upgrade a 483 LFR weapon /w Sha-touched socket. Not sure atm... -- Eumaeus, Balance Druid GM - Lux ex Tenebris - Sargeras | Alliance [6/6] MSV [1/6] HoF |

Not sure atm... You should ask yourself, are you killing the light/dark dragon in progression yet?
and have you completed the quest line enough to get the gem for the sha touched socket?
Also in 5.1 there are additional quests from the prince that will further upgrade the gem. |
|
 | Slightly off-topic, but related - once you have the part of the gem questline to kill Sha of Fear, does this require normal or does LFR suffice?
10/10 Sigil of Power and 6/10 Sigil of Wisdom atm : )
We're not to Terrace just yet, but hoping we'll be there soon now that we've replaced enough 'problem' people holding up progression.
Pretty excited that it seems that the upgrades will cover your DMC trinket proc as well. Makes that a very tempting first option also. -- Eumaeus, Balance Druid GM - Lux ex Tenebris - Sargeras | Alliance [6/6] MSV [1/6] HoF |

Full honor gear, use honor to upgrade.
Full conquest gear, use conquest to upgrade.
Why are people arguing this.... |

DarkLogixTexan and ProudPremium join:2008-10-23 Baytown, TX kudos:3 | reply to Eumaeus I would assume that LFR Sha of Fear would count. after all you can get the Sigils in LFR.
though the drop rate off LFR sha might not be 100% like in reg. |
