I don't think you can sync at 7M with 47.5 dB attenuation. I have a connection which will sync at ~5900 with 51.5 dB attenuation. Your attenuation would probably be good enough for 6M, maybe 6.5M.

Well I seriously hope they finish with the fiber run. I see they are now about 3 blocks away last week with the century link trucks and I'm guessing the company they contract out to run the fiber. I really don't think I can deal with this 3mb download.

Yeah....I'd agree.

Here's mine for comparison for ya. I'm about 1400' from a Fiber CO though.




Utterly solid connection for like years. Hell, I've even had the same IP for about a year.
