These gpu(both company) have gpu boost aka like turbo boost. I use Gigabyte GTX 670: »www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a···14125423 and overclock it. =D

The 7950 is a good card as well. I had a 7970 for a few months but replaced it due to persistent driver issues I was having with WoW (my main PC game). In my mind, Nvidia provides more refined graphical prowess, but AMD offers raw power, and especially pulls away at resolutions above 1920x1080. Since I run 2560x1440 + a second monitor, it was an easy decision to make. -- If we lose this freedom of ours, history will record with the greatest astonishment, those who had the most to lose, did the least to prevent its happening.

norwegian Premium join:2005-02-15 Outback Reviews: ·WestNet Broadband	A friend has 2 x 7970's in SLI with twin screens and suggests the improvement with the new gen cards as well with the new drivers has settled a lot of bugs and in his words 10 - 30 % improvement with one of his more favorite games having large improvements - something the link mentions, a few games see a lot more improvement than the "general over-all improvement".
