[WIN8] Remote Desktop Failure After changing From Local To MS Ac

I have been using remote desktop on a local account for sometime now on my network without any issues. Recently I changed the same account to a Microsoft Account and now remote desktop fails to connect with any other machine on the network . The explanation given is that the credentials did not work and it asks to type different credentials. Remote Desktop on other machines with local accounts are still working.

In the RDP client, choose other user. Enter computername\user and your password.

That did it. Thank you. It used to login with just the computer name as the username but now I had to add \user. Thank you though.
