I have a Goodman furnace that is not turning on properly. I have to turn off the switch, take the front cover off, turn on the switch...at this point the motor makes a noise like it wants to start. I have to hit it in the center and then it will start to spin...but it makes a dragging sound (similar to a card in a wheel spoke when riding a bike). This will work until it tries to turn on again later. Does this sound like something that can be fixed or will it need to be replaced? Thank you for any feedback.

That sound usually means there is something in the blower housing that is rubbing against the blower wheel or stuck in the blower wheel.
I would open up the inducer blower housing and make sure there isn't any debris stuck in there. Also make sure the blower wheel isn't rubbing on any parts of the housing (sometimes the set screw can come loose allowing the wheel to move on the motor shaft).
