| Well if you watch TV in a nice suit you may not get the Joseph A. Banks ads which might be of benefit (e.g. to dave ). On the other hand perhaps they'd try and sell you more suits.
That said this is all about targeted advertising. Or putting it another way getting the most bang for your (advertising) bucks.
BTW Google (and others) already use targeted ads based on your location, web searches etc. Verizon just wants the same for TV. -- Don't feed trolls--it only makes them grow! |

(And then we might have to be called "people" rather than "consumers"). |
