Pathfinder Dazed Confused Premium join:2000-03-26 Mount Vernon, NY Reviews: ·Verizon FiOS ·RoadRunner Cable	Almost here!!! After many months and many starts and stops, FIOS is almost available. Verizon and my landlord had agreed to wire the building back in Dec 2011. Work was supposed to commence in March. But as usual it was pushed back. For whatever reason, it was decided to prewire each apartment with fiber. I have inspected over 1000 FIOS installations in anywhere from 250 to 300 apartment buildings and this is the first time I have ever seen that. It was decided to run a fiber to every other apartment and then bring a leg through the closet of the other apartments. I live in the X line and the cable was to be brought up the Y line. In the beginning of the summer contractors were brought in to do the duct work in the basement and to drill between floors and place wiremold into each apartment. That took 2 months and in September they finally installed the box in my closet. The box Finally, today, Verizon was able to gain access to all 10 apartments in the X and Y line to complete the cable installation... Now waiting for sales to call me or I will call by Tuesday and finally get the service. I can't wait to kick Time Warner to the curb.

JackBauer join:2006-08-24 Schenectady, NY	Bonding of what? And you inspected grounds of the ONT or other VZ equipment? Sorry, just trying to learn a bit here... I work in another industry where electrical and signal grounds can be a challenge. Just interesting that they had a contractor specifically setup to go inspect their grounds.

The NYS PSC demanded it after a complaint and after they inspected and found a roughly 40% compliance. We inspected to ensure the ONTs were properly grounded and the ground used went back to the main electrical ground.
